Bitcoin was holding above the $64,000 level on Saturday, according to market reporting, as investors weighed regulatory developments and institutional investment activity. The market remains volatile, and short-term price moves do not establish a longer-term trend.
ETF flows draw attention
Figures reported for 6 November showed net outflows of about $411.9 million from US spot Bitcoin exchange-traded funds. Spot Ethereum ETFs also recorded reported net outflows of about $93.19 million. These flows can change quickly and are only one indicator of investor positioning.
Regulation remains a key theme
In India, the Enforcement Directorate said searches were conducted at three locations linked to CoinDCX and Delta Exchange on 4–5 November as part of a probe under the Foreign Exchange Management Act. The reported investigation concerns suspected unauthorised cross-border transactions. Allegations and investigations should not be treated as findings of guilt.
Separately, Hong Kong’s securities regulator has proposed measures intended to stop unlicensed firms from using names that could make them appear to be authorised financial institutions or virtual-asset trading platforms.
What this means for readers
Crypto prices and regulation can change rapidly. Readers should verify exchange announcements and regulatory notices, understand the risks, and avoid making investment decisions based only on headlines. This article is for information, not investment advice.
